The new Amiga hardware Natami
| | I just thought I would bring to people attention a very cool project that has me even more inspired to continue with the Aros work I am currently doing with iMica. |
This is the Natami project
What is Natami, well it is a re-inventing of the original Amiga hardware that is fully backward compatible in hardware terms with the latest, i.e. mid nineties A4000 series. It also makes up for areas that needed improving now and adds much to the fabulous mix that was Amiga started by my favourite the A1000 or “The Amiga” as I prefer to call it.
So why am I happy, well because it is fully compatible with AmigaOS3.1, but this means that there will be no development of the original 3.x series OS but Aros is always in development and with Aros for AOS project we can have new cool Amiga hardware and an OS to support it that can grow with it over time.
So another reason to support Aros now on many platforms, x86, PPC, Arm, and Amiga NG hardware, what more do I have to say.
Great work.
